2 month interview process - 1 phone interview with hr coordinator and 5 separate video interviews with various levels in the department for them to tell me that they went in a different direction. I found the same job listed again after that. It sounded like they had someone they already liked and kept delaying my interviews as a back up. I didn’t mind the number of interviews because I’ve had 6 interviews before. I was more annoyed at the length of time it took for them to tell me that I wasn’t the right fit. Why not just do 1-2 panel interviews instead of wasting 3-4 hours with a candidate?
