I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sonar (Geneva) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process was intensive, with 5 interviews starting with the recruiter, then hiring manager, sales team with a presentation, then again hiring manager and ended with HR as culture integration. I have quite an extensive interviews experience and sales background. The feedback from HR was generic copy/paste feedback, with no real link to our discussion. In my case I am convinced that they are looking for cheap, East European singles eager to relocate to Geneva for a bellow average salary. If you have family and if you are not dreaming to relocate to Switzerland in any condition, my advice is not to waste time with this little company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very clear and straight questions on technical interviews. Fishy questions on the culture integration one. In fact they are trying to understand your personal situation in this new political correctness policies. If they will find that you have a family with kids which may need additional school taxes, then they will serve you a standard feedback that you are not fitting in the company culture.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sonar (Austin, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
Dance Monkey Dance! They have an extensive list of hoops they want you to jump through to prove your worth, but would not even tell me if the salary met my requirements in the first interview with the internal recruiter. I was sent a multiple page document of expectations to prepare for the interviews. They acknowledged they have a lengthy and highly detailed selection process but fail to see how it disrespectful candidates. In the end, it felt like they had no respect for my time and that it was not about fit but all about compliance.
