x1 30 minutes Hiring Manager Zoom Call
×1 30 minutes Team Zoom Call
×1 Onsite Geneva Practical Tests with 2 members of the TA Team
x1 'behavioural interview' People & Culture 'Gardener'
Aside from the first interview, the rest was extremely cold, with no way of measuring my ability, meeting with people with no experience of my work.
The Geneva onsite was one of the coldest experiences I have ever had. Two Technical Recruiters trying to measure my work, by playing a word search game with a handful of CVs, a test I would most likely set a Junior Sourcer and not somebody who would be first TA on the ground in EMEA for Sales Recruiting and which finally ended with a tour of an empty and soulless office bolted onto the side of an IKEA store.
The People & Culture Gardener 'behavioural' interview. Just wow! Like a bad therapy session, and gauging whatever keywords they'd pre-defined. My answers were all around team collaboration, being kind to others (team members/ candidates et al). Clearly not the right answers that they were looking forward! On top of all this, TA/HR or anybody else could give you salary ranges. They expect you first to go through 6 stages (hoop jumping exercises, not 2 way meetings), with the final call with the CEO, who only then shares the non-negotiable salary ranges. Truly bizarre and sounds incredibly controlling!
Worst interview process I have ever been through and the work reviews seem to echo just how bad it is.
