Interview
Sony is incredibly thorough with their candidate searches. I underwent a series of telephone interviews with HR, a 1:1 interview with HR, and interviewed with my prospective boss and other colleague whom I'd also be assisting in person. I was asked a series of hypotheticals: how would you handle this scenario, what would your former employer say your strengths are, etc. I was on the premises for approximately three hours, which I believe to be a bit longer than most, but I didn't mind it. The environment was very relaxed, but professional at the same time. Be sure to keep your resume to one page and bring additional copies with you.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sony Music Entertainment in Sep 2023
Interview
Went through three rounds and a written assignment to be told I’d hear an update when they had one, followed up twice and got completely ghosted. To put people through a month long process to not even give someone the courtesy of a written rejection tells me way more about the company culture than any other point of the interview process.
