It took almost 2 years from the application process to start training. They call for the phone interview in the order your application was time stamped. The phone interview pretty much just asked if you were okay with relocation and self defense and other parts of the training. After the phone interview which I'm pretty sure is done by a 3rd party company they fly you to Dallas for a group interview. They talk to you about the salary and schedule in a group and then individually call you to have an interview with up to 4 interviewers. You must bring all documents and letters of recommendations. The interview questions are standard questions that you can prepare for.

What draws you to Southwest?
I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Houston, TX)
Interview
The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.
I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in May 2026
Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
