Extremely unprofessional. First the internal recruiter confirmed my salary requirements before sending her calendar link. I appreciated that as I figured she doesn't want to waste her time or mine. I saw several bad reviews here, but knowing the brand/product and having met with them as a potential vendor in my last role, I loved the product and could see it being a great fit. Once receiving the calendar link, I set up the intervie for the following week. The day before the interview, I received a rescheduled invite for a month later. I reached out to the recruiter and she confirmed it was a mistake and rescheduled again for a few days later. I do all my research, review the entire website, learn the product, check their social etc. Hours of preparation. A day before, I received the calendar cancellation notice with a note at the bottom saying "we made an offer for this position." I imagine I should have been happy to have dodged a bullet as this says a lot about the company culture, but I was shocked they could show no respect for my valuable time. Most candidates take time off work for an interview! At the least, a personal email from the recruiter with an apology would have been nice. For the record, I had a 14 year career after I was the last minute interview they didn't want to take as they thought they found their candidate. Thank you.
