I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Spiff (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2021
Interview
The process consisted of two interviews. I first interviewed with the Head of Talent. Went through the role and the company to determine if this would be a good fit. The second interview was with two Solution Architect managers. They introduced me to the software. Then we went through some technical questions and talked about the team.

Could you walk us through this SQL statement? Then how would you pull this using SQL statements?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Spiff in Mar 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. I had an initial interview with the recruiter and a second interview with the CXO and a designer the next day.
Both interviews started late. I get that it happens, but would have appreciated a note saying they were running late.
The interviews themselves were ok. I worked on a portfolio presentation but we didn't get to it because I asked so many questions about the company and the process. It was alarming for me that on the second page of the company's "culture" doc there was the headline "Complete darkness, constant danger" and a story about how an explorer recruited people for his Trans-Antartic exploration by promising things like "hazardous journey" "small wages" and "honor and recognition in event of success." Then the page asked how this might be applied to "your journey at Spiff." Sounds like toxic hustle culture and employee abuse to me...
My name was spelled wrong twice in electronic communications and I was sent a template rejection after the second interview with no feedback or reason for the rejection.
It's clear everyone at Spiff is overworked and unorganized. I felt my time was disrespected especially since they were the ones who reached out to me and asked me to interview.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Spiff in Mar 2021
Interview
Someone in my network referred me for the role.
A couple of days later I had a 30 minute video screen with the CRO and a recruiter.
The ball was left in their court to get back to me about the role but it's now 17 days later and I've been ghosted.
I've reached out to the recruiter twice and have yet to hear back one way or the other.
