I interviewed with a recruiter first, who was very interested in my background and experience in the space industry, RF communications and other areas. Next I talked to the CTO who comes from a software background. He didn't understand a lot of the work I have done. I attempted to describe the technical roles I had performed that were related to satellite operations, communications, and quality assurance. He was more interested in why I left jobs when I did than what I did while I was employed. Next I talked to a programmer. He talked about his dislike for code reviews, qa procedures, and most kinds of software planning. His view was that any software coud be changed later. I shifted my pitch away from the software qa roles I had done and described how productive I have been.
