I applied online. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Apr 2016
Interview
I got there around 6am. There were already around 100 people there. The recruiters didnt show up unitl 6:45 am. I waited in line and they came around and checked that we had all our info. We ended up making two lines, and one by one we went into the building getting a name tag with a color. Then we go into the auditorium and listen to all about spirit and the job. (At that time arond 400 people showed up) The host was very entertaining. After that they tell you that we will be spilt up by color. (There was red, blue, green and yellow) I went into my designated room with about a hundred people and seven recruiters. They tell us that we will go up one by one, grab a question and answer it, like a pageant. After that they go out the room ad diliberate. They come back in the room after fifteen minutes. If they call you name, you go out into the hall and they tell you that they will be moving on with other candidates. They only left round 20 selected being to remain for the next round.
Unfortunately I was eliminated. It's just like winning the lottery. You have to be your absolute best and have luck.
