Despite negative reviews on the company online, I was very eager to find out that I was invited to a group Interview provided by Spirtit. I wasted no time booking my trip from NYC to Fort Lauderdale just for the event. Booked my ticket, car rental, and hotel stay all out of pocket since they do not provide transportation and lodging for the event. I was confident in myself and the extensive research that I have done in reference to the position and company. Took quite some time for us all to be checked in and provide the proper documentation as requested in the invitation. There were about 120+ candidates who attended, and the process started with an introduction to the company and current employees who were assisting the event. They then went over life as a Spirit F.A & a mock schedule. At this point I felt excited, and prepared. The team was very funny and informative which also helped ease a bit of tension and anxiety. They provided the room with a lot of laughter and encouragement. After, they began the Introduction & Q & A aspect of this massive group interview. At check in, everyone was given a number. One by one we had to report to the front of the room, state our names, where we are from, our number given and read a question randomly selected by a box at our side. It took approximately 45 mins to an hr for all candidates to go. After we all went, they summoned us with a lunch break to "deliberate". Upon returning from lunch, they wasted no time stating at this point we will be calling a few numbers. If you hear your number, you are to rise and walk out the room to meet one of the interviewers. About 40 numbers were called (mine included:-(). In this room we were told that unfortunately we did not make it to the next process, but to feel free and apply in another 6 months or other available positions. I met some amazing people and will definitely re-apply in the future. This company gave off a family friendly vibe, and are constantly growing as a company.
