      Flight Attendant Interview

      Jan 31, 2015

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines in Jan 2015

      Interview

I recently went to the invitation only open house for FLL on the 20th and what a great experience it was! It was a really long day (I got there at 7AM and didn't end up leaving 7PM) but I met some really great people. The interview process went like this. There was about 300 people who showed up and we all went in this huge conference room and were told everything we need to know about Spirit. After that we were broken up into rooms consisting of the color and letter that was on our name tags. When we went upstairs into our rooms we had to go up in front of everyone and pick a question out of the bowl state our name, our number, and read and answer the question. After that we had to leave the room and come back and they made their first round of cuts. I was seriously praying that they didn't call my number LOL. From there they broke us up into groups and we had to come up with our own airline. Make sure you are involved because there are people secretly watching you! They want to see how involved you are working with a team. After that we had to leave the room again and come back and they made their second round of cuts. If you made it we had an hour lunch downstairs in the hotel lobby. After that we had to wait in the smaller conference room for them to call out your name to do the f2f and boy was I nervous. In the f2f they want you to lift a bag over your head and read like an announcement that you would read over the intercom. They also want to see how you would sell a bottle of water to a customer who didn't want to pay for it. Sitting in the hallway I kind of figured out which room the hires went to and the people who weren't hired went down the hall. I was just praying to God while I was waiting to see if they would take me to the room where the hires went. Long story short I was HIRED!!! I'm still in shock that 300 people showed up and they only hired 47 people. I can't wait to start training.
