Cattle Call, about 200 candidates in FLL. Get there early because there is always someone watching. Watched a long presentation about the airline and it's history, and I kid you not, heard more cuss words than a drunken sailor during the presentation. Separated in 4 groups then go with your group. First you are asked to stand in front of the group and pick a question out of a bowl. Then state your name, where you are from and your number. DO NOT FORGET THAT, IN THE ORDER THEY SAY. Then answer the question.
The recruiters leave a while then return, to make the first round of cuts. If your number was called then you are to leave the room and you are cut.
Then the next part was to build your own airline in your group (4 groups in the room), they gave you about 20 minutes to do this. Then they want you to present your airline to the room. Then they leave for a while and come back in the room and make the second set of cuts. Needless to say I did not go further, I was cut. I was dressed in a suit, hair worn back and up, no open toed shoes.... And another candidate got further than me with six inch stilettos. My first indication should have been two recruiters, one with scraggly hair and strappy heals and the other had on flourescent yellow (yes, like a highlighter) platform pumps, I guess to match their new, very unprofessional uniforms of Black and Flourescent yellow accents.
Ultimately this worked for me because I am used to a professional, clean cut look as a prior Flight Attendant.
