      FLIGHT ATTENDANT TRAINEE Interview

      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2023

      Interview

6 hours long. Most of it was waiting in line at registration- they measure your height and look at your passport and license. Then you go into a banquet room where several company ambassadors talked at great length about the job description along with a slideshow. This was where a lot of questions were answered. Very informal but they do pay attention to if you are on your phone and paying attention. Throughout the slideshow orientation recruiters would come in and call people's names, either in a group of 6 or by themselves. Everyone did a one-on-one interview and a group interview, but you didn't know which one you were going to do first. The group interview took place in another banquet room and one recruiter asked each individual a question, sometimes with a follow-up question to challenge you. They were all very easy situational questions like "What would you do if two customers starting fighting over the same seat?" The one-on-one interview started by reading aloud a boarding announcement- I think they just want to see that you can read, you don't have to do it perfectly. Then a couple questions about how my past experience has prepared me for this job and what makes me a good fit for the Spirit brand? Then after the individual interview they sent me to the "Determination Room" which was another, smaller banquet room where people slowing came in and just waited for your name to be called again by another recruiter. This time they took small groups outside the building to either tell you if you got the CTO or not.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2022

      Interview

Started with check- in, next height check, then 50lb bag lift, next was 4 point seatbelt, then on to orientation room. When they get to your resume they will take a group of 6 people and ask each person 2 or 3 questions. Then back to the orientation room to wait for a one on one interview In that interview they will pepper you with several questions and then you’re off to the decision room where you will wait for the hiring decision It was quite the experience and I am glad I did it.
