First of all it was a large group around 300 people or so, Largest group interview I ever seen. They checked your paperwork like your Driver's License, Passport etc, They also wanted a copy of your high school diploma/transcripts so keep that in mind! The whole group snaked around the room and hallways for this process, After they clear you, you go in the conference room and they give you a colorful information session with a lot of colorful language so if that offends you be forewarned. After the information session you had the option to leave which is pretty much standard fare for these types of interviews and if you decided to stay you would be split up in groups separated by color, From there you would have to draw questions out of a bowl, You'd state your name, the number on your tag, answer the question and state your name and number again. I didn't make it past this stage but I do know from what I read before they have a group activity after that were you design your own airline with the other people at your table and after you make it past that selection it's off to the one on one interviews. I did feel that this style of interview wasn't necessarily the best way to show off your talents and in a group that large it's very hard to get selected, This was my 5th Flight Attendant interview and my 6th airline interview, While it was only a 3 hour drive for myself I could only imagine the frustration of some candidates who spend their own money to fly there, Get a hotel and just to be sent back home after the first stage, I think Spirit should screen their candidates better to avoid large groups like these.
