I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
First brought into an auditorium for a presentation about the company, some videos, etc. 300+ at this event.
Then you are split into 4 groups based on the color of your name tag. In this room, there was about 50-70 people I'm guessing. You go up in front of everyone row by row (according to which row you're sitting in) and pull a random question out of a fishbowl. The questions vary from serious, to not-so-serious and random.
After this, about half the room was eliminated and the rest were dismissed for lunch and to return to another room to wait a 2 on 1 interview.
The 2 on 1 interview consisted of a bag lift test, some typical interview questions, and a public announcement that would be made on the aircraft intercom would-you be hired.
After the 2 on 1 interview, you're sent into another room where you are either hired and asked to put information into a computer, or politely turned down.
