The interview process at Sprout was unnecessarily long, with 5 or 6 rounds. It felt exhausting, repetitive, and time-consuming. Could definitely be more efficient. I expected a faster and more streamlined experience.

Question 1
One of the interview questions was an unexpectedly abstract and complex system design scenario, which felt quite unusual and overly advanced for a junior-level position.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sprout Social in Nov 2024
Interview
Extremely unprofessional. Not once would they respond to my emails throughout the interview process. The only emails I got were clearly copied and pasted. The actual interviews weren't bad, the technical round was pretty easy and the people I talked to were nice. The final round also went pretty well and was pretty casual. The recruiters on the other hand were very unprofessional. They told me they'd let me know early the week after my final interview if I got the job. It ended up taking them over a month after my interview to reject me. During this time, I sent numerous follow up emails and got no response.
