I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2018
Interview
Very smooth. Have to create a profile on their website to apply. Asked a lot of behavioural questions that can be linked to working at Starbucks. Also asked questions such as "tell me about yourself"

Question 1
Tell me about yourself?
Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation? What was the outcome?
The interview was pretty easy and straightforward. They were willing to train me in areas I needed. The interviewer was friendly and open to hearing my strengths. She put me at ease when I got there by being warm and friendly.
Inconsistent and not transparent. Very vague and not sharing details of the role or pay rate. Odd questions that didn’t have to do with the role but the person themselves was nice.

What do you like to do on the weekends to relieve stress
I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Maricopa, AZ) in Jun 2026
Interview
The person interviewing me was very nice, and we sat at the tables outside. A lot of the questions required you to think of a time you handled this or that.
