The hiring process is a slow one, with few updates along the way. It took about three weeks from the time of my interview to receive an offer on the position. Once officially hired, there is an orientation day, filled with paperwork and fingerprinting-much like many other government positions. After the initial paper application, a phone interview took place, followed by an in-person interview.

Even though it's a typical interview question, hearing, "Do you see yourself working with this company in five years" as a recent college graduate threw me for a loop.
