Interview
1st Interview: met with recruiter for HR Phone Screen
Final Interview: met with hiring manager and various other department heads in engineering, product and design via Zoom
Last Interview: met with CTO and Engineering Manager for 30 mins via phone
The HR phone call was nice. The recruiter had a list of about 6-8 questions asking me about how I recruit. The remaining 5 minutes we got to chat about STORD and the company culture and the recruiter (Sami) was very informative about the process and next steps.
The final interview was a series of three 30 minutes sessions. It was all conducted over Zoom. CTO and Engineering Manager phone call was an additional interview asking about technical recruiting and other behavioral questions.
The hiring manager (Lauren) said I would hear back by Friday for a decision and I did! I really enjoyed how open and honest everyone was throughout the interview process and I could tell they really emphasis collaboration which was very cool!

Question 1
How do you work with hiring managers when their expectations suddenly change?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stord in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth. I had two video interviews with two hiring managers and they made decisions very quickly and would check-in to answer any questions I had in my own decision-making process. Both conversations were enjoyable and personal - they certainly assessed my background, but they were also open & honest about their own experiences! I really liked that they also listened to my personal career goals and wanted to make sure they put me in a position to get there.
