I applied online. I interviewed at Stripe (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied via LinkedIn and received an email from the recruiter about 2 weeks later. I got along really well with her and scheduled a meeting with the hiring manager the following week. We discussed my experience, the role, and again got along really well.
The next step was a take-home project that included creating a go to market strategy for an industry of my choice, along with a couple of problems to solve. They advised it usually takes candidates about 3-4 days to complete. Once submitted, they reviewed my work to determine if I qualified to have a Stripe rep call me and chat through my presentation and answers. From there, the final round was a 4 hour panel interview that was scheduled for the following Friday.
The final interview panel was pretty brutal from an endurance perspective. The first round was another chat with the hiring manager, followed by a conversation with a sales rep where we walked through my sales process and I performed a 15 minute discovery mock call. After a 15 minute break, I met with 2 more would-be colleagues for "coffee" where we got to see if our personalities meshed. After was a 30 minute session with a finance manager who asked for feedback from the interview process, and asked very specific questions of what I would change about my last company and why. The final chat was with the sales director which included a case study around how I would present information to the executive team.
The team was hoping to get back to me within a week but they advised they were interviewing a few more candidates (there were 2 open roles, with a 3rd possible role open). I finally received an update that they were not extending me an offer based on feedback regarding my performance in the mock presentation.

Long interview process with bad interviewers. not very good didn’t like it didn’t end up getting the job because other candidate had 30+ years experience on me. don’t understand why i had to do 3 assignments if this was the case
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe
Interview
One of the more rigorous interview processes I've been through, but achievable and seemingly intended not to quiz the candidate but rather to assess comprehension, analytical ability, problem-solving, etc.
The recruiter prepared me for each round so I was never caught off guard by or unprepared for any of the questions.
Rounds: 1) Recruiter screen 2) Hiring Manager interview 3) 3-part take-home assignment/phone call to present and obtain feedback 4) Recruiter prep for final 5) Final (4 30-45 min interviews)
Important to obtain as many details as possible about the role in the first two interviews because later rounds are more structured with little time left to discuss.

Recruiter prepares you for kinds of questions you'll receive in final round. In earlier rounds, perhaps be prepared to discuss projects you've worked on or how you handle customer situations, pipeline management, working with your manager & peers, etc.
lengthy but personal and robust. many rounds with very intelligent people. HR point of contact was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the experience. Study up for each round as they are not typical interviews that you may be used to.
