I applied online. I interviewed at Stripe (Singapore) in Oct 2019
Interview
There are about 6-7 rounds, very typical of most roles at Stripe. It involves doing a call with the recruiter, screen with the hiring manager, a team screen round with someone from the team, a technical round, behavior-based round, an Elevate round with someone outside of the team, and a written assignment.
All in all, the interviewers all very friendly and made the lengthy process an enjoyable one.

Question 1
How would you prioritize your day if you had to meet X goals but only had a limited amount of time?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2021
Interview
- 20-minute recruiter call (very straightforward)
- Written assessment with 3 problems where you need to respond to the customer (need to use Stripe's internal knowledge base to research the answers, pretty straightforward, sample answers provided)
- 30-minute peer call (chat with someone currently doing the role you're applying for, only 4 questions, mostly about teamwork, one hypothetical scenario-based question)
- 4-5 hour "onsite" (held virtually during COVID-19) where you have 4 back-to-back interviews with 4 different people (Scrappiness & Culture [standard interview questions], Broken API [solving real-world Stripe API problems, provided with a solid foundation and you apply what you learned in the previous problem to next, you don't need to know anything about APIs or coding to do this] , Busines Case (provided with a hypothetical scenario and you have to talk through how you'd approach it, you can ask questions throughout], and Elevate [you meeting someone outside the department you're applying for, it seems to be targeting creative and critical thinking, quite hypothetical and a bit confusing]; you chat with the hiring managers during this time)
Whole process took about 2.5 weeks.

Question 1
Tell me about your story. I'm interested in the why and not the what.
For the first 12-18 months you'll be answering queries from users. After this time you'll continue to answer queries but become involved in project work. Are you ok with that?
Tell me about a time where you needed to reach out to someone else to help solve a problem or progress a project but you didn't hear back. What approach did you take? What was the outcome?
