Made the mistake of not looking at the reviews before applying, but thankfully I was able to avoid getting hired by this place. That being said, this interview process threw me for a loop. One thing I will give Success Academy is that the hiring process moves very quickly, which makes sense given how they operate and the people they intentionally seek out. I initially applied for the Assessment Associate position on their website, and the next day received a request to complete an On-Demand interview, which entailed recording a video of myself responding to a question and two written responses to different questions. The day after submitting my responses, I'm contacted by a recruiter who tells me that after viewing my On-Demand interview, the SA team thinks I would be a better fit for a different position (Sprint Associate), and that these positions are very similar. She then requests that we schedule a phone interview to discuss more about it. The day after the recruiter contacted me, I have the "phone interview" with her, which essentially was her just pitching the position I did not apply for to me. She didn't ask me a single question about myself and just read the job description to me for like five minutes. After the phone interview, a few days later I had a virtual interview with someone who worked within the special education department, and this went like a normal interview (asked about myself, my experiences) and I actually enjoyed my conversation with this person. The last step of the interview is completing a task that is supposed to be representative of some of the work you would be performing if hired for the position. I waited until the last minute to complete this and intentionally did not put in that much effort. The day after completing the task, I receive an email from an employee at SA whom I have never interacted with, and the subject of the email was "Welcome to SA", and the email was an invitation to a new hire event. I was so confused when I received this, as I had not received an official offer yet, nor did any of the people I spoke to throughout this experience tell me I was getting hired. Four days go by after receiving this welcome email, and then I get an email from SA stating that they will not be moving forward with me. LOL. Although I wasn't disheartened by this at all and did not want to work for this company, I can't imagine how someone who had high hopes they would get hired for this job feel if they had a similar experience. Completely unprofessional. I'm still so confused about how and why I received that welcome email before having any conversation about a job offer. Anyways, I think my experience demonstrates clearly why you should avoid this company at all costs. With how my interview process was handled, I can't even imagine the experiences of employees who have worked for SA.
