Several screening calls with the Synechron consultancy and 3 client interviews with proposed end client for 2 different roles I was a fit for. I was put forward for and accepted for both roles, accepting the latter. I negotiated up for the salary and bonus and received an offer letter and employment contract within 4 weeks of the initial call. The offer letter had the wrong start date and when I reached out to get it changed, I got radio silence for several days. When I finally got a response, I was told the offer was pulled as the client did not agree to the negotiated comp package. Really sour experience at the end, not clear how they could send me an employment contract without having the financials already agreed.
