Interview
There was a walk-in drive by Synechron.
Firstly, they asked to fill up the form with all required details and much. In FIFO manner, they were calling the candidates for interview rounds. They would be taking 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round if clearing one by one.
I have been interviewed for 2 technical rounds, but unfortunately could not clear the 2nd one. Though I could not make it, I enjoyed and learned a lot. Their process was very smooth and recruiters were helpful. Overall nice experience!

Question 1
My both rounds were purely technical based on Java, Spring and Hibernate. I have made a list of questions combined which I have been asked there.
- There are three methods as below.
void method(double d, int i){}
void method(int i, double d){}
void method(String s1, String s2){}
Now, if I call method(0,0). Which method will be called?
- Tell me 5 things which I can do to override any method.
- Why Strings are immutable?
- Write your own immutable class. Then following questions of Deep cloning.
- Which are the Wrapper classes in java?
- Write a program to reverse a string without using any inbuilt direct function.
- Write a program to check numbers till 10 are even or odd using recursion.
- Write a program to check given string is Palindrome or not.
- Can we write custom exception? If yes, how?
- What is contract between equals() and hashcode(). Show me by writing code if you want to override both methods.
- I have a class i.e Employee which has two properties id and name. If I want to sort list of employees by their names, what should I do?
- Difference between synchronized and Lock.
- Difference between synchronizedMap and ConcurrentHashMap.
- Producer/Consumer problem using wait and notify
- Write a program of Producer/Consumer problem using BlockingQueue.
- Spring IOC. What are different ways to achieve Spring IOC?
- Difference between BeanFactory and ApplicationContext.
- Spring Bean Lifecycle.
- How to create RESTful Webservice in Spring.
- What to do if I want to get 1st number employee details by hitting URL www.restapi.com/employee/1. Write a controller method for the same.
- What are the properties to configure Hibernate?
- What is dialect? Why is it used?
- How do we write query in Hibernate same as ‘SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEES’ in SQL?
- What are alternatives to write queries in Hibernate apart from HQL?
- Write configuration for one-to-many relationship between two classes in Hibernate.

What will happen?
- I have one method void method(ArrayList<String> list){}.
I’m calling this method by passing raw-type arraylist i.e. method(new ArrayList()). What will happen?
- How to convert given String to integer? If I do Integer.parseInt("chintan"); what will happen?

Interview
10 minute phone call followed by a 30 minute technical screening. The interviewer was extremely unprofessional, kept asking questions too fast and did not clarify questions when asked. They kept telling me to just answe without thinking or aksing questions. They looked in a hurry to finish all the questions in interview and kept rushing for answers, often sounding rude.
I did not complete the interview i dropped from the call!
I was not able to answer basic simple question of stream as usage of IDE was not allowed it was in online compiler.
Anyways, the interviewer was dead rude from the beginning, I would not want to work with those kind of people for sure.

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and quickly heard back from the recruiter, who scheduled a first-round interview(1 hour). The HR and interviewer were both professional and approachable. The interview went smoothly, consisting of one coding question and a few technical questions.
