I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TNTP in Dec 2021
Interview
Unprofessional - will never apply here again. Borders on a scam. Read the other reviews -- I wish I would have listened to them! After a phone screen, TNTP asks you to do a "hiring exercise." This is essentially 12-16 hours worth of work that they receive for free -- all before you even speak with an employee there. I've been thru the process twice now -- the tasks are always way too involved and long. It's free labor for them. Very exploitive for a company who says they are committed to equity. What's worse is they then drop the ball on follow-up and communication. I honestly think they forgot about me (and maybe others) both times I was in their pool. I had to follow-up four times, and each time they said they were very interested in me as a candidate but that their timeline was changing. I followed up with my contact one more time, months later -- mostly just because I had spent SO MUCH TIME on the hiring exercise. Instead of replying to our email chain, I got sent an automated message from their HR platform saying I was not selected to move on. Of course I already knew that, but I was just hoping for some closure. Really disappointing, especially considering how much money they have. Do better.
