Received an email and phone call from corporate Recruiter. She walked through my experience with me and said she was going to set me up with an in person interview in one of their Atlanta offices. The next day she messages me asking for all these questions about concerns on my resume( which I explained) and then says she needs my references. I asked her why she needed them if I wasnt being offered the position, she lied and said it was standard they do it before the in person interview. Two days afterwards I get a rejection email saying they went with someone that has more experience ( really for an entry level role that when she posted about it on LinkedIn required 0-3 years of experience?). So I asked if it was something in my background check and references, she lied again and said they didnt check those even though she fully asked me for them( I have all of this in writing by the way). Of course she doesnt respond after I send this email and then I get on LinkedIn today and they're still looking for "Entry Level " Recruiters. I feel like I was discriminated against and I dont like how they handled this interview process at all. I'm thinking about filing a complaint. If not be sure to warn people about the interview process.
