I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Talkdesk (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in May 2019
Interview
A Sourcer called my a week or so after I applied. I was asked a few questions about my background and to speak in english. My 2nd Interview, with the Hiring manager, was scheduled right after this call. This 2nd interview (via skype) kept being rescheduled. Once, it was canceled 10 min before it happened. When it did happen, it was an ok interview: i was asked about my background and experience, my english level was again assessed, and I got to ask a lot of questions about Talkdesk and the role. Then I had a 3rd on-site interview with 2 recruiters: again, i was aked about my background and previous experience. The interviewers were nice, but I felt like a lot of my questions werent answered, and they were still figuring things out in the team. I was offered a position . I emailed them saying i wasn't going to accept it and I never heard back from them.

Question 1
What are your expectations regarding Talkdesk and this role?
I was interviewed for the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist 2 years ago. I did the whole process, met all parts and the process went well. I was told I was going to get an offer. I applied for the Porto office, as I live here. Suddenly, I received a phone call from the director of TA telling me the vacancy was moved to Lisbon. She asked if I was still interested. As you can imagine, this was a game-changer for me, so I told her I had to think for a while. I then asked what my salary would be because if I was to consider living in a different city, I needed to know if I could afford living there. She told me she would share those details with me after. She never returned my phone calls, never answered my emails again. I was left without any feedback. This caused me the worst impression of the company and I certainly would not expect that a Director of Talent Acquisition would leave a candidate with no feedback whatsoever. As a TA myself, I am well aware of how important it is to provide feedback to our candidates, so in the end, I'm glad I didn't end up there, as certainly this isn't my way of doing things.
I applied online, had 3 interviews and was selected to receive an offer.
However, at the end of the process, they changed the location of the vacancy for a different city. I was asked to think about if I wanted to accept the vacancy at the new location. As candidates, if we have to make a change that will affect our personal lives, I expect the company to understand we need time for reflexion and decision making. Of course, I asked for at least one day to think about it and asked for the offer, so I could make a proper decision. We agreed on that. I tried to contact them and they never replied to my emails again nor did they ever answered my phone calls ever again. I was left in the blank. Terrible candidate experience.
I understand the company has a hurry to hire and probably they found someone who made a better fit with the role - probably someone who already lived in the city they wanted. Nonetheless, as a Recruiter myself, I would never leave a candidate without feedback especially after agreeing with him/her that we would give time for him/her to think. I don't like when my candidates ghost on me and I didn't like being ghosted by this company.
