Interview
I had one call with the recruiter who clearly didn't read my resume before getting on a call with me and told me I wasn't a good fit. I definitely got the vibe that they're only looking for TAMs who are currently TAMs somewhere else, so I wouldn't bother if you're not a TAM at another company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Talkdesk in Nov 2024
Interview
Three stage interview. First was with the director. Second with your direct manager. Third was a panel interview presentation demoing the product and solution. Pay was reasonable. The sense I got from this company is they are desperate for talent to join. They had expectations of an accelerated onboarding process. Limited resources for ramping. Company had multiple rounds of layoffs in 2023 and 24. Not yet profitable. Hard push for an IPO but the product itself is nothing revolutionary. Saw some red flags in company culture. CEO models themselves after Musk. Talks a big game but seems to have limited values.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Talkdesk in Oct 2024
Interview
The first interview consisted of a phone call with the recruiter that went over the job description details, pretty standard with some behavioral questions and "tell me about yourself" cases. The second interview was with director lead and third with someone from the team I would be working with. Last was a challenge where I had to do a presentation style exercise.
