The interview had 4 rounds , * System Design - Expected lots of details and wanted to get into nitty gritties of designing a system * Deep Dive into different technologies especially Kafka internals and databases. Scalability, Testing, Distributed systems concepts etc * Coding Round - easy level , two problems asked to code and then it was more discussion around the data engineering landscape in Target * Hiring Manager round - Looked at culture fit Target came across as a very friendly organization and the process was very seamless.
