It is a pity that this candidate has chosen to comment in this way. It is true the interview took a long while to arrange, however she does not mention that both she and/or we were away from the office on vacation for much of that time and this interview was in the first week in which both parties were available. We spent nearly 45 minutes trying to identify the depth and breadth of the candidate's expertise and how they matched our requirements. We absolutely had examined her test results and were fully aware that there were areas in which she did not meet our requirements. However at the end of 45 minutes we believe it was very obvious to us both that there was not a good fit for either of us, at which stage rather than waste everyones time we agreed to halt the interview. This candidate was given every opportunity to explain her experience to us which we listened to very carefully. We sorry it didn’t work out and wish her well in her future endeavors to find a suitable role.
