I interviewed with Texas instruments for an internship position, and it was the worst experience of my life, and I will never apply to this company again. I really believe that the interviewer discriminated against me because I was not Indian. The interview really gave me hard time, and he really wanted to fail me. I asked others who interviewed for the same position, and they were not treated the same way , and the interviewer was nicer. The interviewer even did not introduce himself or ask me to do so. He just jumped into technical questions. I really felt so bad the way that the interviewer treated me, and I will definitely never apply to this company again, and if you ever interviewed by an Indian manager, and you are not Indian; it is very unlikely you will get selected or be considered.
The company should diversify its work force, and train its managers on treating candidates equally, and not just hire from the same ethnic background. Ask candidates for feedback after interviews, so you can learn about their experience and how you can improve the process
