I applied online and made it to the final interview round after being internally referred for the position. As someone who had a personal referral from a senior position, and stellar recommendations including from the President of my college I feel like the interviewers didn’t make the right decision. The interview consisted of two people who via their questions and tones seemed to have already made up there mind about who would get selected for the position.

The overall process is good.Hiring manager conducted interview through Microsoft teams. He asks about qualification questions and some behavior and technical questions. The most frequent questions is about your experience. It takes about 30 minutes overall.

Describe s situation where you need to learn and use a new tool or package.
Pretty relaxed and chill (though it depends on your team), two of my future heads interviewed me and asked me some standard questions based on my prior experience and background. No tricky questions. Knowing more about President Carter is always a plus.
The interviewers were very nice people. They were super friendly and asked questions in a pretty casual manner. The interview was on a zoom link. First I had to complete an online application.
