Interview
Straightforward for a semi-internal hire, which allowed for bypassing of the typical interview process. Interviews with research teams is separate from HR processes. HR is inefficient and processes are very convoluted, which can make interviewing and onboarding difficult or confusing for external candidates.
Was recommended by a friend. Touched base with the Field Director and got an immediate response to schedule a phone interview. Spoke on the phone and formally introduced myself and was scheduled to participate in an in person interview.
