Toll Group interview questions

Talked about my past work experience and why Toll and why i want the job, asked about how i handle multiple tasks with similar deadlines. Also asked what is my career plan, and how would Toll fit into it.

Offered an interview but only if agreed to a salary first, to which they said "no". Then 2 weeks later receive a call saying they agreed to salary. First phone interview went fine. Offered second phone interview; would not meet in person. I felt I had aced the second interview, despite some questionable techniques they used. This company is more about ensuring those in "management" positions appear to be more qualified than those who can actually get the work done; clearly they fear anyone knowing more how to do things than they do. Egos galore. I had a bad feeling about this company from the start, and believe me folks LISTEN to all the negative feedback, it is likely all true. In the end, I am relieved I was not offered a role as it is painfully obvious this is an extremely toxic work culture - this company does not deserve me, nor you for that matter. Move on and look elsewhere!
