There was a phone interview with some basic questions and then a video call with more questions. There was a few questions that I didn’t expect that I needed to think about but other than that it wasn’t a bad interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Total Spectrum (Sterling Heights, MI) in Jun 2024
Interview
The beginning of the interview was mostly behavioral. I think that once you get the interview there is a high chance you align with the job description already. They asked what experiences you have, the typical questions. They then asked hypothetical questions on what I would do in various situations, such as if a child began fighting and climbed up a large structure in anger. A few situational questions to test preparedness.

Question 1
What experience do you have working with children or as a behavior tech?
Super casual and informal, very easy going interview. Asked scenario questions and about experience with kids. Over the phone, and it took about 15 minutes. Very nice interviewer as well.
I applied online. I interviewed at Total Spectrum (Kalamazoo, MI) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process did a good job of explaining the job function, but not necessarily the behaviors you'd see. Although this was better covered in training. I did enjoy my interview, training, and position.
