Right off the bat, I was told it would be a very straight forward and laid back interview. I was told that she really wanted to get an honest idea of who I was and what I embody to know if I was a great candidate for the position. I brought extra copies of my resume but my interviewer had it printed out and let me know that she had liked it. I was asked to briefly describe my career history, why I picked (and left) certain jobs, things I learned from my previous jobs etc...I was asked a lot about my time in the service, and to my fellow vets, I do recommend finding a great way to make your military skillset translated into your new job. (I.E....layouts = inventory skills, leadership). I also highly recommend arriving to any hotel interview earlier than the 10mins prior, because front desk will usually have a customer and you don’t want to seem late. I will say, the skills assessments I was sent specific to hotels was more difficult than I was expecting...don’t rush; it requires a lot of attention to detail.
