      Client Onboarding Specialist Interview

      May 31, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Townsquare Interactive

      Interview

It’s a three step process. The first one is a phone call over the phone. Very general. The next one is about an hour and a half long. They get to COS managers to discuss your experience and to understand the job a bit more. The second interview is the direct manager for the whole team. Basically reiterates the same exact interview questions with info on salary and a bit more in depth than the first one, not by much. It is EXTREMELY catered to college grads. The interview questions focused a lot on my college accomplishments, classes, and experiences even though I graduated 4 years ago. It was very very basic and a super entry level and too easy. They are wanting more people that have digital/ marketing experience, and less of a client success experience from my understanding. If you are looking for growth, there is potential here, however they made it clear you can grow fast, or never grow out of your position, even if you are qualified for upper management. Salary and benefits can increase based on whatever tier you have. Tiers are based on how fast you can open accounts given to you.

      Interview

Phone call interview with hiring manager, then moved on to an in-person interview, then followed up by a phone call with offer a few days afterwards. It was a pretty standard process and very efficient and effective

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Townsquare Interactive (Charlotte, NC)

      Interview

Over about 3 weeks I had a phone interview and two in person interviews. The phone interview was pretty basic, lasted about 30-40 minutes and just talked about my experiences on my resume. Next interview was in person with two people from the section I would be working for and they asked more in-depth questions about my experiences. Overall I was there for about 1.5-2 hours. Third interview was with one person and they asked me the hardest questions out of the whole process but nothing extreme. Lasted about 40 minutes. All the people interviewing me were very pleasant to talk to and I heard back within a week.
