Process Engineer of the Future Interview

      Aug 10, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tulip Interfaces (New York, NY)

      Interview

After the application, I've received an e-mail from some person in the team saying they want to talk to me about the position. This interview is basically about getting to know you, what you've done so far and such. A few weeks later, they sent me a project about solving a manifacturing problem using their web based product that you can use to create an app. Some start-ups usually bait people with interviews to have them use their product and "borrow" their experience to see what is possible with it. This really didn't look like the case with these people as they were quite friendly and helpful throughout the process. After presenting the project, I interviewed with another person from the team and that was the end of it. No responses to my follow-up e-mail and I was quite frustrated as they didn't bother to send a rejection e-mail containing a few words.
