I applied online. I interviewed at Tulip Ltd. (Royal Leamington Spa, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
After the initial application, the online tests and the email confirmations we were invited to an assessment centre. (The online aptitude tests were on the top 3 of the most difficult tests I've come across.)
The assessment day included 2 group projects, a presentation about why we would want to work for tulip (they didn't have any type of these questions on the application), a small meal and the personal interview.
For the group exercise, one person of the company was taking notes on each one of us, and we had two different scenarios. On both cases, they gave as a big file with the information that we had to look at but there was not enough time to read all of them, not even half of them. They were not interested in the outcome of our effort but in the way we were handling the problems and we were interacting with the rest of the team. In the end they also collected our personal notes.
During the presentation I was asked a few question on some of my CV facts, but it was very typical and not in form of an interview.
After the meal they let some of us go as we didn't fit the profile for the job so I never got the personal interview stage. No feedback was given for that day as we were told that "I'm sure that if you think about it you will see what you did wrong" [...]. The company reimbursed our travel expenses and covered our overnight accommodation.
