I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at U-Haul (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied several times, finally got a call saying they were not looking to hire just now but to try again in 60 days. I put in another application and got an email from a recruiter to send in a speed test. Need to have 70 ms or lower on speed test. I sent her the results and then she scheduled me for a phone interview. Had phone interview and she asked me about my previous work experience and explained what this job would entail and the availability and scheduling standards. Was offered the job on the spot. She then set up for me to take a drug test locally and then go in to my local Uhaul store to have manager verify I9 and work eligibility. After that, was set up in a virtual training class.
Interview process was easy, interviewer was very nice. Didn't take too long and is done via Teams so very convenient in that sense. Everything was streamlined and easy to follow in the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have any scheduled events or need for time off ahead of time?
Two interviews:
The first was a phone call (screening) interview and I was asked fairly basic/general interview questions. I was also given a summary of the job description (nice touch!) and given the time to ask additional questions.
The second interview took place via Skype. As the job itself is a remote/work from home position, it makes sense that you aren't called into an office for an on-site interview. At the time of the second/Skype interview, I was able to fill out the necessary paperwork for employment, using the computer camera to verify (and on their end, they were taking screenshots).
A week later, I began training. It was an all around easy process, with very helpful and friendly onboard agents.

Question 1
They asked for my background, typing speed is a crucial aspect of the job, and they ran the standard background checks.
