      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at U-Haul (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2016

      Interview

Hiring and interview process was extremely easy. I was basically asked if I met the technical requirements for the position, which you have to submit proof of at time of application. Recruiter was extremely disorganized. She called me once to interview and she left me a voicemail. I called her back that day, and had to call her again after not hearing from her for several days to get through to her, even after leaving her messages and sending her an email. She lost my speed test results, but did eventually find them. She also gave me misinformation about the local store in my area where I was supposed to complete new hire paperwork. Interview process was - initial call to set up a phone interview. Once I finally spoke to the recruiter a few days after she first called me I had my phone interview the same day. I received a offer the same day. She asked a couple very basic questions and confirmed what schedule I wanted and what position I wanted. She said another position was also available that I did not know about when applying. I stuck with the position I initially applied for. After the job offer, you have to complete a urine drug test and provide proof of identity to a local U-Haul location and you complete some online paperwork. You are scheduled for an orientation session that lasts 1-2 hours and is paid. After orientation approximately one week later you will start training. Recruiter gave me a schedule when I received the offer, but I found out she got the hours incorrect for this as well when I was contacted by phone a couple weeks later after I started working.
