It's easy to get a job on the phone as a part time agent. They promote from within and it's kinda a popularity game. If a manager or director likes you- you can move up with the company fast. Must get use to things changing overnight and sometimes it's a restructuring of management forcing you to leave a Director that you worked well under. Alot of the directors are very 1980 managers. They don't understand concepts like work/life balance. They expect alot but are not able to accommodate any of your last minute needs. Vacations and holidays off need to be planned a year in advance. Some directors don't trust their managers and that causes alot of micro managing. I loved my first director, thrived under him he gave me space and autonomy. My next director did not give me that and I started hating it there. It's important that you don't get to comfortable or attached cause things change so fast. My interview for management was a 5 panel interview with a mix of managers and mostly directors. Nobody smiled or gave anything away, it was high stress and very nerve wracking.
