Interview
Standard phone screening interview followed by no communication. I was expecting a follow up (good or bad) within a week. Its been over a month with no response. I emailed the recruiter but haven't heard back. Needless to say I wasn't the right candidate for one reason or another which is ok.
The recruiter who completed the phone screening was not pleasant. Its understandable though given she most likely has to complete 8 to 14 phone interviews a day. I got the feeling she was a cog in a large machine just checking her boxes. As a result the interview experience was well below average.

Interview
The interview process with hiring manager went really well. We clicked. Then I met with their manager and it went downhill from there. Despite being qualified for the position his attitude towards me was gruff and I could tell he didn’t like me right away. But he gave me hope. The last interview with hiring manager peer was awesome and he said he would hire me now if he had a position open. Then I waited and waited and waited while they gave me excuse after excuse. Finally after pressuring the recruiter for details they told me they went into another direction. What does that even mean? Meanwhile they reposted the position again. Lol. I am glad I didn’t get this job.
