The phone interview was conducted very professionally and courteously with the interview questions focused on political philosophy and connections to the particular state. The interviewer followed up with an email with an offer for the internship.

The interview process for a US senator was very chill. It was a 20 minute phone call with the normal get to know you questions. After the phone call, receiving the internship took about 2 additional weeks to hear back. Be patient with this process!
It was three rounds. First was a thirty minute phone call then two thirty minute zoom interviews with different staff members. After the last interview they got back to me in a week.
