      Phone call with staffer for 30 minutes. Very conversational and interested in getting to know my background. Wanted to see if my background aligned with the internship program and how I would benefit from it.

      The interview process for a US senator was very chill. It was a 20 minute phone call with the normal get to know you questions. After the phone call, receiving the internship took about 2 additional weeks to hear back. Be patient with this process!

      It was three rounds. First was a thirty minute phone call then two thirty minute zoom interviews with different staff members. After the last interview they got back to me in a week.
