      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Senate in Jun 2023

      Interview

This interview was with the office of Senator Ossoff. It was a virtual interview. First of all, the interviewer was five minutes late. This alone is not that big of a deal, however when taken with everything else it adds up to show carelessness in the hiring process. The interviewer started the interview by saying "this is my third day." The interviewer was also clearly in a crowded room and was distracted the entire time. He even got up and left the interview for a minute. It was made clear that the interviewer did not care. I felt as though the interns had already been selected and I was given this interview as a courtesy. Shame on the Ossoff office for such a terrible interview process. I left that interview embarrassed and ashamed. It was clear I had no chance of getting an offer as the interviewer clearly did not show any interest in me from the beginning.
