      I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Senate (Washington, DC) in Apr 2012

      Interview

      I submitted a cover letter and resume to an organization that was looking for minorities to intern in the Senate. A few weeks or a month later I received a phone call and was asked to do a phone interview on the spot. At the end of the call I was told that I got the position and would be receiving further information about intern orientation.

      Interview

      Application included two written statements, resume, three recommendations, and a cover letter. I had one phone screening interview with operations staff. A few emails and received an offer letter 2-3 weeks after screening.

      Senate HELP committee, fairly easy. Mostly behavioral questions and some about passion and policy interests. Felt like a conversation and they were more than happy to answer my questions as well. It was with the director and a legislative aide.
