The interview occurred with two members of the Senator's staff. They were particularly interested in knowing my future plans, more so than I would have expected. They seemed concerned not only on how good of work I would do for the Senator, but also if working in the Senator's office could actually assist me in my career goals. They wanted to know a lot about my research and writing skills that I had referenced on my resume and asked me to send them an additional writing sample.

Interview
Senate HELP committee, fairly easy. Mostly behavioral questions and some about passion and policy interests. Felt like a conversation and they were more than happy to answer my questions as well. It was with the director and a legislative aide.
