Interview
The interview process was on the phone with detailed questions, after filling out lengthy forms online. In addition, after demonstrating ability there were opportunities for additional responsibilities. It did seem to be a standard government interview for the most part.
Thorough and concise, this was a phone interview. After the phone interview, if you passed, you are then sent to complete a background check and fingerprints. Processing was a breeze the wait time was approximately 3 weeks.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Census Bureau (Washington, DC) in May 2021
Interview
Panel of 8 employees via Teams. Interview questions were very long and had multiple questions embedded in them. It was very interesting as for the senior level position I am used to no more than 3-4 people. Suggest that you dial-in as joining from the internet was difficult to maintain consistent communications as well as it was mandatory to make sure that the camera was on during the interview.
