      Sales Operations Interview

      Sep 14, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UiPath (Houston, TX) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Houston recruiter was always rude, not-flexible, from the beginning set the interview at an hour that would only fit her own schedule, giving no other options. Once asked if there are other options, she just threatened with superiority that the interview won't take place anymore. Later on she would cancel the interview with 2 minutes before, would never apologize or try to reschedule. When asked kindly to reschedule she would just send a totally unprofessional informal message - saying she's in the ferry. The interview with recruiter: she would begin asking if you have experience for a different position that you applied for, would create an unnecessary tension making you feel that you are wasting her time once you are saying that you are trying to speak about the position she set the interview for and not about another , would give you 5 minutes to tell her about your experience ( of course you wouldn't know what to emphasize cause you no longer know for what position the interview is taking place) In the end she would arrogantly say" I will see if any manager wants to see your CV otherwise you would receive an email of rejection''. Where is the Uipath 'humble value'' here? Second interview was exactly as it should be. They would ask you about your experience, how would you behave in certain situations at work and would give you a reasoning exercise to resolve on spot, which I did and I passed the interview as well. Last interview - The interviewer based in Romania and also lead of the team for which I was interviewing in Houston would ask many personal question, not personality questions. She would ask the nationality of the husband - is he American, is he from this country, is he from the other country? keep insisting, would ask to explain the difficulties met once relocated in US, would ask about how friends I have since moving in US and so on. Are these above questions meant to see if I am a team player, if I am adaptable? If this was the purpose maybe ask my ex manager, how did I adapt on working for different markets, ask me to tell you my results for each market that I worked for and each company. Questions: How would be an ideal day at work for you? What would say the people on your team about you? What did the other interviewers told you about our company? What do you think you would be doing in this role? Why didn't you have the interview for another role with my colleague? What happened? Honest answer would have been: Your recruiter would let me get prepared for a certain position with a certain person and only when asking her to confirm the role ( I learnt to confirm from the first experience with the same person) she would tell me that actually I will have a different interview. What I answered: I was redirected to this position by the recruiter and as the previous position is related to this one I expressed my interest in continuing the interview process.
